Under the alias of Foreverinmotion, Brendon Thomas has nearly worn a second hole in his guitar. Born and raised in southern Vermont, Thomas looks like a young Springsteen; a kind-eyed, scruffy rocker dude who once dreamed about playing pro baseball until he discovered music. In the years that followed, Thomas played in a handful of bands and eventually found a stronghold with acoustic music, going solo as Foreverinmotion. His latest album Sunrise is a highway companion that explores folk, country, and blues music.
"The sun had set on a lot of things for me when I began writing Sunrise; the end of a relationship, the parting with my label. There was a void waiting to be filled with newness, and these songs were a direct manifestation of that void. Moving to New York City had a big part in it too, because it was such a drastic change from the world I come from. I felt inspired to transform... themes of freedom and soul searching are all over this thing."
After parting ways with indie label One Eleven Records in 2009, Thomas moved to New York City where he penned Sunrise and claims to have made rent his first few months testing out new songs on subway platforms. He independently released the album last year on Forest Park Recordings, a music collective created by friends and home to his other band, folk trio The End of America. He continues to work, write, tour, and carve new holes in his guitar as an independent artist.

Foreverinmotion hit the ground running in 2004 with the release of his self-titled album.
After much unexpected internet success, he embarked on his first tour as "Foreverinmotion."
In late 2006 he released his 2nd album -- an experimental and epically hopeful work --
The Beautiful Unknown, the following spring.
Thomas toured much of the year; occasionally with a band, but often on his own.
His longest stretch was a 2 month span that crossed more than 25 states.
"It was just my guitar, my van, and America. I built a bed in the back, snuck into truck stop showers and completely forgot
what being home was like. I began to feel so in sync with the road."
The hard work had its rewards, as The Beautiful Unknown landed in stores across the country and rounded up glowing
reviews.
The album accumulated over 500,000 internet plays within the year (his albums combined have tallied over 1,000,000 plays to date), as it charted in the CMJ top 200 and landed two #1 hits on independent Canadian radio.
The video for his first single Hot Air Balloon also received a good deal of attention,
making the rotation on many indie music TV shows across the US, as well as On-Demand and reputable internet shows.
Above all, the music brought him into contact with new fans who connected with the positivity and impact of Foreverinmotion's songs.
