Hello. My name is Brendon Thomas. Enjoy this close-up of my face on your right, and this short biography I will now compose in the first person.
I've been making music as Foreverinmotion for nearly 20 years. It began as most bands do: 17 year-old kid gets a four-track and starts experimenting in his room. I had a red ovation acoustic guitar my dad traded a jeep for before I was born, and a piano. Over one summer I recorded some mellow tunes and called it foreverinmotion. The name was inspired by my favorite book at the time, "Illusions" by Richard Bach, and I combined the words cuz I liked the look. Did I mention I was 17?
Fast melodic punk rock was my first love. I played in punk bands in high school and it was the best time ever. Eventually those bands ran their courses and I put my energy into the solo thing. I learned how to record [better sounding] music and make my own albums. I learned how to tour. I signed with a label. Made a lot of friends. Made a lot of memories. Made a lot of mistakes. It was better than college. I've met some of the most important people in my life thanks to this music, including my best buds with whom I formed my other band, The End of America.
New music is on the way. Thanks as always for listening.
